What features does your website provide?

Our website will allow you to upload, draw and assemble online comics and will host them for free. You can also e-mail comics to your friends!

How much time do you have? There is no limit to how many comics you can create.

How can I delete a page, episode, series, site or my account?

To delete a Site: first, login to your account. Next, click on the "My Content" link in the navigation bar at the top of the page. Now click on the name of the Site you want to delete on the left-hand side of the page. The next page that comes up should show your Site name in the middle of the page. Click on the link that says "Show Site Options" in the blue box at the top of the page. On the next page, click on the checkbox that says "Confirm Site Removal." Then click the "Remove Site" button at the bottom right. The Site is now deleted along with any series and comics within it.

To delete a Series: first, login to your account. Next, click on the "My Content" link in the navigation bar at the top of the page. Now click on the name of the Series you want to delete on the left-hand side of the page (it will be underneath the name of the Site that it is on). The next page that comes up should show your Series name in the middle of the page. Click on the link that says "Show Series Options" in the blue box at the top of the page. Now click on the checkbox that says "Confirm Series Removal." Then click the "Remove Series" button at the bottom right. The Series is now deleted along with any comics within it.

What is a Promo Banner and how does it work?

A Promo Banner is a 200px by 76px jpeg image that will be displayed on your main Site along with the title of your series. It will also come up when people search for you on the site and it will be used to advertise your site on this and other web pages we own. The default Promo Banner is set currently a transparent image. Once you upload a Promo Banner, it will replace this image.

Can I use my own domain name for my comics and stories?

Currently webcomics and stories reside in a directory of Sketchdog.com. However, your domain name can be "redirected" to point to your directory on our site, so when a user types in your domain name it will take them to your comics on our site. We plan to offer more options regarding domain names in the future. Please contact us if you would like more information about this topic.

What type of images can I upload and what size and resolution should they be?

You can only upload jpeg and gif images. They should be 72 ppi (pixels per inch). The largest comic size is 950 px wide.

How do I upload images of finished comics (not created with Sketchdog) to my account?

- Register for a free account or login to your account
- Create a Site and a Series (if you have these already skip to the next step)
- Click on the big "Upload a Finished Comic" button
- Click on the grey "Browse" button and find the comic on your computer (please upload only jpeg and gif files)
- Give your comic a name and click the "Upload Comic" button
